Randy Lopez, the brick foundation and groove behind Detroit Music Award and Inspirational Country Music Award nominee Alan Turner, began his musical journey at a young age. Bass guitar, however, was not his initial introduction to music. Randy began playing trumpet when he was 8 years old. At his first dance he was hit with the power of the electric bass. Spending 3 years in the Navy, Randy explored various genres and situations in music, this led him to network with musicians across the country. Randy enjoys painting the music with his various colors on many different canvases.
