The songwriting of Renegade Road has been the collaborative work of Greg Stryker and myself. Together we had collectively written approximately 19 songs over about a 16 month period. This wasn’t the first time Greg and I had worked together… several songs from my prior work were a result of our partnership including “Preacher Man and Me “. After the success we had experienced with that song it just felt natural to continue on this path… That our individual skills were complementing each other. Initially my thought was to release all the songs in one big CD release… but time and performance schedules made it difficult … So I narrowed the project down to 13 songs that felt right together.
