Rob came to join the band by pure chance or perhaps it was more like fate. A situation where God puts someone in your path for a purpose. Just days before a major casino show in New York, the band’s primary keyboard player, Mark fell gravely ill putting the show in jeopardy. Well, it just so happens Jacki had just met this amazing piano player and the rest was history. Rob joined The Gambler Returns temporarily until Mark was better. But the entire band was convinced he fit a vital role that would help expand the overall production. Alan had remarked, “Kenny Rogers always had more than one keyboard player… we should too.” And so, the band added a second keyboard player.

Rob has always found himself at home playing jazz piano. Several years back he formed a popular group of young musicians known as the “Rob Louis Trio” and developed a unique style and sound tinged with modern rhythmic influences performing vibrant jazz music based around Rob’s dynamic vocals.
